The weeks leading up to Comic Con feel like a whirlwind of fabric scraps, wig detanglers, and hot glue burns. Whether you're a veteran cosplayer or attending for the first time, that final stretch before the big day is what we lovingly call... the Con Crunch. And there's no better way to capture the magic (and mayhem) than through my 10-day photo journey to the ultimate cosplay reveal.

Day 10: The Idea Board

I kicked things off in my cozy Geek Den, with walls plastered in inspiration—magazine clippings, character references, and sticky notes galore. I had my favorite playlist on repeat and a steaming cup of coffee in hand. This is the calm before the cosplay storm.

Day 9: Thrift Run

Armed with a keen eye and a tight budget, I hit the vintage racks looking for hidden gems. Belts, boots, and bizarre finds—everything is fair game when I’m building a cosplay from scratch. Thrift stores are underrated goldmines!

Day 8: Supply Haul

Craft store chaos, anyone? I raided the aisles for foam sheets, EVA glue, metallic paints, and way too many glitter options. My cart was overflowing, and my creative brain was on fire.

Day 7: Sketch & Plan

Back in my den, I pulled out my sketchbook and mapped out every seam, accessory, and material. Seeing it all on paper made the vision feel so much more real—and slightly terrifying.

Day 5: Late Night Crafting

The crunch was ON. I was surrounded by thread, sequins, and way too much caffeine. My hot glue gun never left my side. The mess was intense, but this is the part I weirdly love most.

Day 3: Suit Fitting

With most of the pieces ready, it was time to try everything on. I stood in front of my mirror, pinning, adjusting, and watching my vision come to life. There's something magical about this moment.

Day 2: Wig + Makeup Test

At my vanity, I experimented with color palettes, eye shapes, and wig styling. I snapped a few selfies, filmed a quick TikTok, and got hyped seeing the character come to life.

Day 1: Packing Mayhem

Packing day is always chaos. I triple-checked everything—cosplay pieces, snacks, badge, emergency sewing kit. My suitcase was a wild mix of bubble wrap and prayers.

Con Day: Showstopper Reveal

The big moment! I stepped out in full cosplay, confidence dialed up, and ready to take on the con floor. Cameras flashed, compliments flew, and all that hard work finally paid off.

Post-Con Chill: Recap Time

Back home in my Geek Den, I kicked off my boots and scrolled through photos and memories. I was surrounded by con swag and a lingering case of post-con blues—but it was all so worth it.
